How does the assistant know what to answer?
You enter your website address, and Skaldion reads the content in a few minutes. You can also upload documents (PDF, Word, Excel, text). The knowledge is shown as topics that you can edit, extend or delete at any time. The assistant answers only from this knowledge – and names the source.
Do I need technical knowledge?
No. The setup is a guided conversation with the setup assistant, and at the end you copy a single line of code into your website – that’s it. If an agency looks after your website, just send them this line.
What about privacy?
Hosting and data storage take place in Germany, AI processing at European providers with a data processing agreement. Visitors actively consent to the privacy policy before the chat – with stored proof (time and text version). Conversations are stored encrypted and deleted automatically after a period you define.
What happens if the assistant cannot answer a question?
It does not make up an answer. Instead it offers to take the request with contact details, and your team receives a summary by email. Unanswered questions are collected so you can add to the knowledge with a click.
What happens when my conversation quota is used up?
You are notified at 75 % and 90 %. Once the quota is reached, the widget does not disappear – it shows a contact form so no visitor is left without an answer. Alternatively, switch to the next plan.
Can I cancel at any time?
Yes. All plans can be cancelled monthly, the trial ends automatically at no cost. You can export your data at any time and have it deleted completely on request.
